She first made her mark on the Sydney live music scene fronting a rock ’n’ roll and indie duo, her first musical venture backed by her foundational background in sound engineering and production.
Driven by an unending passion for her craft, she has continually refined her skills through advanced training in voice, dialect and acting with the Darlinghurst Theatre, NIDA and The Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
It is in the realms of roots and rock ’n’ roll however, where Katerina truly soars. Her smooth timbre and sweet-toned vocals possess a natural, buttery grit and resonance tailor-made for the genre. Combined with her diction and clear enunciation, it’s her effortless balance between vintage tones and vocal purity that first caught the industry's attention when her lead vocals and distinct production style crowned her the winner of Australia’s Triple J Unearthed competition, earning her original music national airplay and a slot at The Great Escape Festival.
An effervescent live performer, Katerina’s dedication to her work has also opened doors internationally. In 2026, her band Bang! Bang! travelled to the US to play Viva Las Vegas — the biggest rockabilly festival in the world — proudly standing as the only Australian female-lead band on the official lineup.
Whether commanding intimate venues, festivals or large arenas, her stage credits include Orleans Hotel & Casino - Viva Las Vegas, Cooly Rocks On, Si Cranstoun support NSW tour, Accor Stadium Sydney, Palmer & Co, Lazybones, Dean & Nancy, The Annandale, Oxford Art Factory, Cherry, The Tote, NIDA and the Eternity Playhouse.
